Abstract
A new time-domain method of transient synthesis of DC/DC power converter optimal voltage control is proposed. The method consists of successive steps: the shaping of an optimization criterion, the calculation of an optimum switching moments sequence with the help of a certain control strategy; the formulation of a control law and the construction of a controller. The criterion is chosen with due regard for the dynamic requirements of a power converter. The choice of one or other strategy depends on the type of converter (buck, boost, flyback etc.) and the complicity of the power stage. The controller is constructed by adding a compensating circuits and/or extra loops to the analog to time modulator. Examples of utilization of this proposed method are demonstrated.<>
