Abstract
A noninvasive technique for the measurement of the metabolic percursors of fatigue has been developed. A microcomputer-based expert system applies an experimentally derived set of algorithms to data collected on the subjects eye blink, heart rate, head movement, etc. Limitations of the system are recognized, and further development is outlined.<>
