  • Abstract
Microwaves (MW) sensing is done through complex and big size detector or sensor which comprises a lot of elements. In this paper a new scheme to detect MW is proposed. The motivation is to minimize the conventional MW detector size and reduce the number of elements in the detector by using a new technology. Here MW is detected by measuring the surface plasmon wavelength shift which is the result of the related Bragg wavelength shift (0.009 nm/ °C) in the optical fiber due to temperature change. The analysis is done through experimental procedure and related result comparison of different research papers to get the possibility to detect the MW using Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) generated in Optical Fiber (OF).
