Abstract :
The mobile agent paradigm is currently gaining momentum as a novel way to make workflow systems endowed with flexibility that stems from autonomy the paradigm has inherently. However, the greater the system autonomy, the harder is it to find a good solution due to the huge solution space. We address the introduction of a delegation model which guarantees a sub-optimal solution within the restricted solution space. In the sense of performance indices such as `load to workflow engine´ and `process execution time´ can be obtained in the mobile agent-based workflow system
