Abstract :
A new optimization method (Invasive Weed Optimization) is used to optimize the bandwidth of a fiber bragg grating filter. A design example for 26th channel of DWDM is represented. The runtime is better than Genetic Algorithm optimization and a good bandwidth is reported.
