  • Abstract
    With the increase of streaming video application on the Internet, the requirement of video compression has changed. The improved method of fine granular scalability(FGS) is given, which based on the wavelet transform and discrete cosine transform(DCT). The simulation has verified, which proves the feasibility of the method.
