Abstract :
The in-band adjacent-channel digital audio broadcasting (DAB) system for FM band (88~108 MHz) has interference and coverage characteristics better than the in-band on-channel DAB system. We propose new in-band adjacent-channel DAB systems. The proposed systems are based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technology in conjunction with trellis coding. We evaluate the performance of trellis-coded OFDM for the FM band over various multipath mobile radio channels
