Abstract :
The responses of reverse jacket (RJ) filter banks are simulated in Matlab. The FIR filter with 128 taps is used as a basic filter and decimation factor is computed for RJ matrices. The input image, Lena, is processed with RJ filter banks at N=2, 3, 5, 6, 8. We identify good quality performances with low decimation factor. The error is discussed
