Abstract :
Distortion is interpreted as a non-linear motion of the points from the location in the distortion-free image to the location in the distorted image. In order to find the corresponding points, a new search area with high possibility of occurrence of the corresponding points is defined. One is the radial directional search with no support region. The other is the radial directional search with fan-shaped support region to consider camera rotation and shaking. Once the corresponding points are found, the distortion parameters are obtained using the optimality criterion
