Abstract :
The formulation control technique of highway embankment compaction quality is discussed based on the construction practice. Using compactor pass, loose laying depth, water content, and degree of compaction as the compaction quality control indices to set down the experiment plot, the regression equation between compactor pass and loose laying depth, water content, degree of compaction is fitted according to experimental data in field. While the indices, such as compactor pass, loose laying depth, and water content, are detected, the compactness can be calculated by the regression equation. Meanwhile, comparing the calculated values of compactness with that of test in field indicates that the computed values are coherent to that of field test. The feasibility and reasonability are verified in construction. By means of calculation of the regression equation can give quantitative indices to organize construction of filling soil. So, the method by means of formulation calculation is feasible and effective in controlling embankment compaction quality.
