Abstract :
This paper proposes the architecture of a 3 dimensional Web monitoring system for monitoring and control of processes from the soft real-time point of view. Cosmo player is used as a VRML viewer in this paper. The proposed architecture uses Java API for the server API, push methods and Java applet for periodic and continuous updates for monitored data, VRML and CSS (cascaded style sheet) and EAI (external authoring interface) specification for 3 dimensional representation of processes
