Abstract :
Liaohe Oil Field is a low permeability reservoir, formation oil poor, so far taken the field is ongoing recovery process, but the time of really pumping oil doesn\´t account for 20% of running time, most of the time pumping machines have "empty pumping" phenomenon, it results in energy loss, increasing the mechanical wear, reducing the mechanical life and increasing the oil production cost. Aiming at the status of Liaohe oil field, I will develop an economical and effective way to achieve remote monitoring of the pumping unit. The method uses a time difference ultrasonic measurement techniques, the following is my brief description of measurement methods.
