Abstract :
Summary form only given. The magnetron oscillator is known as high-efficient, high-power and low-cost devices for generating microwaves at centimeter ranges. Especially, the magnetron oscillator used in microwave oven at home still draws a great attention for its compactness and low cost by a mass production. One of the crucial issues of magnetron used for the microwave oven was spurious leakage noises which interfere to the communication systems due to the same range of microwave spectrum is utilized.[l] Several researchers have shown the effect of space charge spokes and the cathode heater conditions related with the noise of magnetron.[2] However, the noises was not fully simulated and understood because of its complicated structure. In this paper, the noise of magnetron from the nonstationary behavior is investigated as the normalized cathode current is increased using the three-dimensional particle-in-cell code, MAGIC3D.
