Abstract :
This study is an applied study that connects theoretical studies to education practices. For that purpose, this study creates basic assessment indicators from Japanese Junior College Student Survey (JJCSS). I call these indicators as JCIRP assessment indicators. These are based on framework that comes from the comprehensive I-E-O model and involvement theory, and are created from item response theory (IRT) that use the same procedure of CIRP constructs. JCIRP assessment indicators can use for process monitoring, benchmarking and learning assessment. In the current situation of Japan that is requiring the qualitative change of undergraduate education, JCIRP assessment indicators are useful tool to guide education practice.
