Abstract :
The authors have treated three groups of patients affected by inoperable tumors of the digestive tract (10 patients), lung (10 patients), and pelvis (10 patients). They subjected them to hyperthermia with radiofrequency treatment at 13.56 MHz. After hyperthermia therapy, 75% of the cases showed local and general amelioration. The authors have noted in 40% of the responsive cases a clinical and radiological reduction of tumors. In 60% of the cases they noted stabilization: the hyperthermia seems to create a type of immunological response.<>
