Abstract
The rapid developments of communication and computer hardware technology in the last few years have given rise to a strong research interest in Concurrent Multi-Path (CMP) technology. Based on the comparison with conventional single path forward and random CMP forward, a novel Single-hop Delay Probe (SDP) algorithm for CMP forward in multi-homed host is proposed. NS2 simulations prove that SDP algorithm reduces the performance degradation of different paths and achieves a better bandwidth performance with certain memory overhead.
