Abstract :
We present a new dielectric test procedure that guarantees a correct design of the internal insulation of tools used for the maintenance of electrical installations, with special attention to the limits of applicability in terms of nominal voltages of installations. This test procedure was laid down to ensure relevance regarding this type of failure, simplicity of the required test facilities and coherence with the practices of IEC TC 78
