  • Abstract
    In this report a Sagnac fiber optic current transducer for DC- and AC-current is described. The sensor is a 25 m flexible glass fiber, which can be wound around any current conductor on high voltage potential to measure the current in accordance to Ampere´s law ∮H&oarr;(s)d&oarr;s=r=nΣr=1ir. Some performance test results and an application of the transducer are presented in this paper
