Methodology for the Evaluation and Diagnosis of the Protection, Measurements, Supervision and Control Systems of C.V.G. Edelca

In this work, a methodology for the evaluation and diagnosis of systems and pieces of equipment is presented. Such methodology was developed by the transmission protection, supervision and control division. The evaluation criteria, as well as the registry forms are described, which allow a definition and periodical reviewing of the maintenance actions, replacement or updating. The most convenient approach from a technical and economic point of view is always selected, in order to guarantee the reliability and availability of Edelca´s Power System
