Digital imaging and display system for craniofacial X-ray analysis

The authors have developed an integrated data collection, storage, and analysis system to facilitate the manipulation of large volumes of craniofacial records. Recently, they added a digital imaging capability to the system. Initial features include the fast retrieval of any head film image associated with a particular subject and the overlay of previously identified anatomic structures on the digital image. Future developments will allow the user to measure anatomic landmarks directly on the digital images.<>
