Abstract
“Future Internet” must support complex network environments and service types. But nowadays routing devices cannot fulfill all the requests. So the concept of reconfigurable and programmable router has been proposed. In this paper, we proposed a novel task-driven dynamic reconfigurable router architecture. By sampling and monitoring the ingress and egress flow, also by tasks analysis and controlling, this architecture can support more critical performance characteristics. Also the architecture is flexible, which can make the new service deployment more freely.
