Abstract :
During the operation of an induction motor (IM) drive system, parameters´ variations will influence the effectiveness of control. A relatively simple scheme is presented in this paper for an online estimation of the rotor resistance. This proposed method is based on the theory of model reference adaptive control (MRAC). The results of simulation and experiment show that this identification scheme has good astringency and it can be applied to the real vector control of IM
