Abstract

This work describe the experiences in the rehabilitation of a power autotransformer in the 765/400 kV CVG Edelca´s network. These rehabilitation tasks have brought about technical and financial advantage for the company. Also, a methodology to identify problems by analyzing internal anomalies has been developed, including inspection, tests and diagnosis procedures. Two practical cases, comprising 333 and 500 MVA autotransformer, are described
