  • Abstract
The productivity requirements in the industrialized societies and the new corporative culture characterized by the continuous process optimizing, has required the use of electronic components by the residential, commercial and industrial users. These non linear loads are more sensitive to electromagnetic disturbances, which can be generated by other non linear response loads, deficiencies in the installations of the user, maintenance and construction deficiencies of the distribution networks, among others. In this paper, a analysis is presented about the power quality (FQ) site survey process for regulated electricity market. Three processes will be defined and developed, such as: the attention of claims, supervision and certification through case surveys. Finally show results obtained through 202 analysis of the PQ, made in electrical installations and distribution networks, both urban as rural, by a working methodology developed and improved along 8 years (1998-2005)
