Abstract
A part resonant switched reluctance motor drive circuit was proposed, involving only four switching devices with three motor windings. The system yields less EMI, because of soft-switching, and the output torque was increased by means of less current pulse tail-length. As this circuit utilizes resonant voltage transition, the switching losses greatly decreased and the efficiency was improved
