Abstract :
In this paper, using optical harmonic measuring instruments for high voltage and the harmonic analyzers, the patterns of the harmonics in the distribution systems in an industrial area were simultaneously measured at the field test location distribution line in the neighborhood of a factory and at the same distributing substation. Carrying out the measurements of harmonics in a communication factory and the method of phase discrimination, the authors have found the harmonic sources in an industrial distribution line. The power factor in an industrial distribution line was measured and evaluated by the distortion factor
