The Notion of 2008 Beijing Olympics and Its Implementation

After the successful bidding of the 2008 Olympic games, the chinese government and the Beijing municipal people´s government have been making preparations across the board in order to host the event in a smooth and successful manner; they have made tremendous investment in science and technology for the purpose of bringing about the idea of high- tech olympics. This article discusses the origin and development of the idea of High-tech Olympics and the efforts of implementation the idea made by various relevant departments and agencies.
