Abstract :
The paper presents the results obtained from the digital processing of high voltage (HV) impulses by means of a method based on the wavelet packet transform. The method has been validated according to the IEC1083-2 standard and the results obtained for the waveforms contained in the standard are given. Furthermore, the results of tests carried out on actual waveforms are also going to be presented
