Abstract
This paper analyzed the technological learning in the cluster from the aspects of player, environment and characters of targeted technologies. This paper argued that the firms in Chinese clusters should learn technologies outside the cluster and leader firms can be the "gate keepers", which is different from the typical technological learning mode in developed countries clusters, because of the poor technological capability, incomplete market economy system and pluralized targeted technologies\´ sources. The empirical study based on Dongguan and Taizhou clusters supported the authors\´ arguments well.
