Abstract :
The authors propose a method for generating a random sequence that can be interpreted as the sampling of a third order stationary band-limited analog signal corresponding to the hypotheses of Brillinger and Rosenblatt (1967). They emphasise on the difference in the effects of sampling on stationary and nonstationary signals and discuss the condition for a correct application of HOS identification algorithms.
