  • Abstract
In this paper, we first propose a computational model. Then on the basis of two virtual innovation networks constructed, we investigate how diverse connecting mechanisms between network A and B differentially influence the co- evolution of the knowledge levels of both networks. The simulation results indicate that knowledge diffusion through different innovation networks seems to be affected significantly by two factors, namely, the existence of collaboration among networks and the characteristics of the agents who build the knowledge connections across these networks.
