Abstract
New harmonic elimination pulse-width modulation (HEPWM) techniques of real time inverter control for induction motor drives are presented. These techniques can be implemented online in real time, without resorting to any conventional offline numerical techniques nor extensive look-up tables (LUTs). It is shown that the developed HEPWM techniques can be implemented by calculating switching angles using simple algebraic equations and selecting switching states. Simulation and experimental results derived from test induction motor drives are presented to confirm and demonstrate the features of the techniques
