Abstract
rdquoThe increasing Web service in spatial information domain, demands us to discovery service precisely and efficiently. However traditional Web service discovery provides keywords based search method, which would lead to rough search results, can´t satisfy our request. Besides Web services lack of semantic description, unable to be interpreted by computers, it is difficult to realize services automatically selected and dynamically assembled. This paper introduces semantic web to spatial information services and embeds OWL-S in UDDI, applying semantic description in Web services discovery. Authors introduce semantic description and publishing mechanism of Web service based on OWL-S and UDDI, propose a algorithm of semantic similar degree based semantic distance, discuss services matching algorithm between request and advertisement based ontology similar degree, designs a preliminary spatial information Web service discovery system framework.
