Abstract :
In this paper, a solution of QR+Tree spatial index structure and algorithms is proposed. Our aim is to meet the requirements of large-scale GIS database application and overcome the insufficiency of existing spatial index technology. Compared to other spatial index, this solution is more efficient. In this paper, we analyze about the performances of QR+Tree in insertion, deletion, and especially searching, and the experiments show that this hybrid index solves the efficiency problem of the traditional space index availably.
