Abstract :
Product maintenance process is nonlinear, time variant, space distributional and indeterminate because of the complex maintenance object, lots of parameters, uncertain personnel behaviors and various maintenance resources which always change states with time. Therefore, it is difficult to describe maintenance process with single model. The paper firstly presents the concept of virtual maintenance integrating modeling which is based on Petri net and integrates orient-object modeling and function model. Secondly, the paper presents a model of virtual maintenance which is based on object time Petri net, and the model structure, formal definition, maintenance object, resource state and model operation are given. In addition the model mapping mechanism from function model to object model and Petri net is addressed which can provide feasible solution for the application of maintainability engineering. Finally, a case study of the LRU repair of an aircraft is conducted based on the model, and the result confirms the validation and feasibility of all the studies, which can become a new technique means for maintainability engineering.
