Abstract :
Summary form only given. Using the Nd-doped fiber laser as pump source several ZBLAN fibers with different doping concentrations of ZBLAN:Tm and ZBLAN:Tm,Yb with different dimensions have been investigated in laser operation. With an optimized fiber a maximum output power of 375 mW at 482 nm could be achieved at a pump power of 4 W.
