Abstract :
Hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) is well known as a semiconductor that provide low cost, large area process. However, efficiency of a-Si:H solar cell is lower than other solar cells. To increase efficiency, many kinds of texturing technologies have been developed. In this paper, we suggested a new method of block textured glass by wet etching with HF, HNO3 and NH4F. We made block structure which gives long light traveling path along the side wall of the block while keeping the distance between cathode and anode constant. We can get higher efficiency of solar cell than the conventional glass.
