Abstract
Summary form only given. Knowledge management is now one of the major driving forces of organizational change and wealth creation. In view of this fact, this paper explores knowledge-based organizational strategy, illustrated by a case study of a firm in the electronics industry. The firm´s knowledge management process is presented to determine the effect of knowledge management practice on quality improvement and increased productivity. This paper provides a snap shot of some of the efforts towards knowledge management taken by a manufacturing firm in the electronic sector in Malaysia. The paper first has a discussion about knowledge management and information technology in knowledge management. In the second section the case study is presented
