Knowledge management to enhance business operations: a case study in the Malaysian electronics sector

Summary form only given. Knowledge management is now one of the major driving forces of organizational change and wealth creation. In view of this fact, this paper explores knowledge-based organizational strategy, illustrated by a case study of a firm in the electronics industry. The firm´s knowledge management process is presented to determine the effect of knowledge management practice on quality improvement and increased productivity. This paper provides a snap shot of some of the efforts towards knowledge management taken by a manufacturing firm in the electronic sector in Malaysia.
