  • Abstract
In the substation Jose the presence of transient electromagnetic interference was determined in control and measurement cables; this interference arises during the operation of the 400 kV disconnector switch affecting the remote temperature transducer measurement and the voltage regulator tap changer of the autotransformer #3 (AT3), located in the house #2 for acquisition of data (CAD 2), near to the disconnector switch. In this work are presented the results obtained by simulations carried out with the alternative transients program (ATP) about the interferences of weak currents in cables of control and measurement due to transient or permanent electromagnetic fields that causes false trips to the equipment
