Abstract
Suggestions are forwarded for using satellite images in K-12 education. Variable classroom computer capability is accommodated. Example lesson plans are presented. Computer equipment in the classroom is not required for these lessons. Instead, they are designed with the expectation that teachers access and print images at home, using photocopies of these prints in the classroom. Lesson plans also allow the direct access and display of satellite data in the classroom should computer equipment be available. Internet and other sources of satellite data are presented enabling teachers to go beyond suggested lesson plans.
