Study of Venture Enterprises Innovation Patent Behaviors and Research of Relative Strategies

Venture Enterprise, featured by high-tech product and high yield market, is the product of the combination of venture capital and high-tech. Because of the need to conduct product development and technical innovation in the course of venture enterprise´s development, the patent system has been widely applied in the field of venture capital. In this paper, based on the risk of innovation activities as a starting point, we model its patent behavior at every stage, research the venture enterprise patent applications from such three areas as the monopoly, competitors and the government, and then discuss the optimal patent licensing strategies under different patent structure. By analyzing the complete patent behavior of the venture enterprise, the conclusions drawn from this paper have some guide significance for venture enterprises´ strategy and government´s patent policy.
