Abstract
Logic reliability relation of the high-speed EMU service braking system was analyzed. The reliability diagram was set up. A general approach and the major steps were proposed to do reliability analysis of the high-speed EMU braking system. And the failure distribution of key components was confirmed through reliability test. The simulation result shows that the main reason for failures of the braking system is the clamp, and the brake control subsystem has an adequate reliability. This paper provides a theoretical basis as well as methods for the reliability design and analysis for braking system of high-speed train.
