Abstract :
China has shown tremendous progress in the telecommunication industry in recent few years. In last decade teledensity has jumped from 6 to 66 till April 2007. China became the largest country of the world with maximum subscribers both in fixed and cellular sector. Cellular sector increased rapidly and an exponential increase has been seen in it. With all these achievements there are too much reforms to be needed in this sector, while new telecommunication Law has been drafted and is being debated. Recent developments in telecommunication industry of china are discussed and important reforms are suggested in this paper.
