  • Abstract
In the traditional DRM(Digital Rights Management) scheme, each user must buy a license for a digital content, and can not share this content with his friends. But,with the development of digital content industry, this model can not promote the development of digital content industry chain effectively, people have come to realize that rational sharing could raise the benefit of multiple parties of the digital content industrial chain, and achieve a all-win development. This paper presents a new DRM scheme based on rational share, we employ a security policy based on tamper-proof hardware, with this policy, the content provider can know and control the upper limit of the number of the share users, but the content provider do not know who buy the content, and how many users share the content. Meanwhile, in our scheme, the digital content which the user brought is portable, the users can access his digital content in any of his devices. This paper focuses on the security policy based on tamper-proof hardware and share scheme, some applications of our scheme is discussed also. With rational applications, our scheme can heighten both the benefits of users and content providers by supporting flexible rational sharing mechanism and privacy protection.
