Abstract
Microstrip line is most widely used transmission line on printed circuit boards connecting electronic devices. Microstrip scattering parameter values depend on substrate parameters, processing technology of printed circuit boards and the design of transmission lines like geometric form and branch lines layout. The signal reflections relating to scattering parameters can cause the significant signal degradation. The results of the scattering parameters measurement and the simulation of different microstrip lines are presented and discussed.
