Abstract :
The purpose of the research on DBH growth model was to provide a scientific basis for the management and development of larch in northeast (DBH is the abbreviation of diameter at breast height). The six growth equations of Richard, Korf, Schumacher, Clare, Levakovic, Mitscherlish were used to fit DBH growth model of larch in northeast. The weights of these models were determined by means of variation coefficient method to establish optimal combination model. The results showed that: The combined model that determined the weights of these models through variation coefficient method not only reflects the DBH growth changes of larch more accurately, but also can improve the fitting precision. Therefore, the combination of multiple models is superior to its single model, and it can better reflect and predict the DBH growth process of larch in northeast. It will provide a guide and reference value for the sustainable management of larch in northeast and help to improve intensive management of them.
