Abstract :
This paper focuses on creating an infrastructure system to support distance education and instructional enhancement, not on hardware or courses to be used. The basic components of this infrastructure include: faculty training and a customer support system. Faculty are using distance education with increasing frequency and many are unaware of the difference from traditional classroom teaching. At the same time, the support systems for distance learning are not always in place.
