Abstract :
Sewage treatment is an important environmental protect problem. There are many locale information data needed real time monitoring in sewage treatment system. A monitoring system based on wireless Mesh network is presented in this paper to solve the problems in conventional wire monitoring system for sewage treatment plant. In this monitoring system, the system consists of sensor nodes, data collector, monitoring centre and wireless communication networks. The data transmit from the sensor nodes to the data collector using the ZigBee wireless mesh communication network. The data transmit from the data collector to the monitoring centre, system uses Ethernet. The data collector in this system acts as gateway. Monitoring center is designed based on FPGA. In ZigBee sensor node design, Microchip´s PIC18LF4620 was adopted as processor. Wireless chip CC2420 is adopted in communication unit. The experimental results show that this monitoring system can realize the automation data collection of sewage treatment and has good system performance.
