Abstract
Changing accreditation standards (among other things) have fostered increased emphasis on communication skills in engineering education. This new awareness primarily focuses on skills attainment. But what are responsible ways to use communication skills? Are principles of ethics developed in philosophy isolated from the real world, or are they reflected in the values that guide communication among people in the workplace?.
