  • Abstract
    The model is based on basic relaxation oscillators. These relaxation oscillators model the flow of ions through the cell membrane and the associated transmembrane potential changes for three ion species. Several typical waveforms observed in colon are modeled and their relation to the various ion species is discussed.<>
